About Lux

Lux is a bright, beautiful girl who has come such a long way in foster care. When she first arrived with her 2 pups, she was very shy and unsure of the world, preferring the safety of her crate and feeling nervous about the leash. With patience, kindness, and trust, Lux has blossomed into a fun-loving, energetic companion. Her pups are finding their forever homes and now it’s time for this beautiful mama to find hers. She now walks well on her harness (though she still appreciates a little encouragement getting it on!) and has shown herself to be wonderfully non-reactive around dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. Lux absolutely loves to run, jump, and entertain everyone with her joyful zoomies. Lux would thrive with an active family who can continue building her confidence and helping her learn new skills. She is incredibly smart and eager to learn — she picks things up almost instantly. With a patient and loving home, Lux has all the potential to become an amazing lifelong companion.
