Meet Pedro! Pedro arrived in care as a shy, cautious little guy who preferred to watch the world from a safe distance. With patience, love, and gentle encouragement, he has truly begun to bloom! Each day his confidence grows, and he’s discovered that people, playtime, and new adventures can be pretty wonderful. He has a nice heavy coat and loves to play in the snow!!! Loves to romp around the yard at top speed and playing with toys!! He would make an excellent acreage dog and guard dog. Not the biting kind but will definetely alert you if someone comes on the property. He is just about full grown and probably about 70 lbs when fully grown. Pedro has met kids of all ages and has been great with every one of them! He is also great with male or female dogs that he has meet. He sleeps soundly through the night in his kennel and is fully house trained. He’ll need a family committed to continuing his training, consistency, gaining trust issues, and positive reinforcement. In return, you’ll get the joy of watching him grow into the happy, outgoing companion he’s meant to be. Another confident dog in the home would definitely help continue building his confidence!
