Meet Nugget Animal ID: 2000422142 Nugget is a 3 years old male American Staffordshire Terrier/Mix who weighs 51 pounds. Nugget is a tiny tank with a huge personality packed into his beefy little body! This goofy guy is equal parts energetic playmate and affectionate cuddlebug. He loves his belly rubs, and WILL claim his spot as a couch, lap, and bed dog whenever possible. Nugget already knows some basic commands, is house trained, walks nicely on leash, and has great house manners - no destruction here! He'll still benefit from some continued training to help keep all four paws on the floor and remember that mouths are for toys, not people. He may also need support learning to feel comfortable spending time on his own. We don't know much about his history, so kids, cats and other dogs are an unknown. Older kids may be better for him, only because he doesn't realize his strength! We *do* know that he looooves people and will trot his way over to new people to ask for pets with his irresistible puppy dog eyes. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who can make you laugh one minute and snuggle into your lap the next, Nugget is ready to bulldoze his way right into your heart!
