About Harriet

Harriet is my name. You really need to meet me. I am a sweet, gentle girl who can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I feel safe, my personality truly shines. I like to take my time warming up, and when I do, I’m a snuggly, goofy pup with so much love to give. I’m a bit of a homebody at heart. I don’t need big adventures or busy outings to be happy — I thrive on routine, familiarity, and knowing what to expect. What I do love is having dog friends around. My foster home has a variety of dogs coming and going, and I really enjoy their company. A confident older dog in my forever home would be a wonderful match and help me continue building confidence while giving me a fun playmate. On leash, new environments can feel overwhelming for me, so I’m looking for a calm, patient home that understands shy puppies and is happy to move at my pace. Because busy, unpredictable energy can be hard for me, I’m best suited to a home without kids. Once I trust you, I’m an absolute sweetheart. I love cuddling and take my role as “gift giver” very seriously — socks, toys, or whatever treasures I can find are proudly delivered with love.  I should add, it’s not often I destroy them anymore either! Are you ready to welcome a gentle, sensitive pup who values connection, consistency, and cozy days at home? With patience, kindness, and maybe a doggy sibling by my side, I promise to be a loyal, loving companion who will quietly steal your heart.
