Meet Yukon Animal ID: 2000418257 Yukon is a 2 years old female Large Mixed Breed who weighs 62 pounds. Yukon is a beautiful, soft-hearted girl who is starting to show us just how special she is. With an unknown history, she is taking life at her own pace and looking for a home that will do the same. In new or unfamiliar situations, Yukon can be a little wary and may show some stress signals, but with patience, gentle handling, and tasty treats, she begins to relax and build trust. Once comfortable, her sweet personality really shines through. Yukon enjoys food and enrichment (lick mats are a big hit!), takes treats gently, and has shown she can be very affectionate, even offering soft tail wags and hand licks when she feels safe. On walks, she is wonderfully easy-going on leash and loves taking time to sniff and explore the world at her own pace. Yukon is looking for a calm, patient home that will help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. In the right environment, she has all the makings of a loyal, gentle companion who blossoms beautifully with time. A little bit about Yukon: -Kids: Unknown history with children. 10+ recommended to not overwhelm dog and be able to interact appropriately. All interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult. -Cats/Small Animals: Unknown history with cats or small animals. All introductions should be done slowly over multiple sessions and carefully supervised. -Dogs: Unknown history with other dogs.
