Meet Charlie Charlie is the definition of resilience wrapped in a whole lot of love. Despite the cast on his leg, this sweet boy doesn’t let anything slow him down—he still loves to play and enjoy life to the fullest. Charlie is deaf, which means he doesn’t always realize just how loud he can be when he cries—but he really only speaks up when he needs something important, like a bathroom break or a refill on water. He’s otherwise a calm, well-mannered companion who is house trained, great on leash, and an absolute joy to have around. Because Charlie can’t hear, he can sometimes get startled when other dogs approach unexpectedly, which has made him a bit protective of his space. For that reason, he’d do best as the only dog in the home, or with a calm, respectful female dog who understands his boundaries. He’s a fantastic eater, highly motivated by both food and praise, and thrives with connection and routine. More than anything, Charlie is just a genuinely kind soul looking for a safe, loving place to call home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a huge heart, Charlie might just be your perfect match
