Meet Yuki — a sweet, cuddly little shadow who’s happiest when she’s close to her person. This affectionate girl loves nothing more than curling up in bed for snuggles, soaking up attention, and being your loyal companion through every part of the day.Yuki has a playful side too and enjoys short daily walks, playtime with other dogs, and even cozying up with a cat when the mood strikes. While she appreciates having her own space around other pets at times, she can coexist well with calm, respectful animal friends. Her foster describes her as loving, playful, and deeply devoted to her favourite humans.This medium-energy girl is best suited for a quieter home where she can feel safe and settled. Yuki can be nervous around loud noises like thunder, fireworks, and strong winds, and she does experience some separation anxiety when left alone. Because of this, she would thrive with someone who is home often or willing to continue helping her build confidence and comfort when alone. She may bark, chew, or have accidents if she becomes anxious, so patience and consistency will go a long way in helping her succeed.Yuki is making progress with housetraining and leash walking, and while she doesn’t yet know many formal commands, she’s eager for affection and connection with her people. She enjoys cuddles, pets, snow days, and being included in family life. She’s also known to keep an eye on snacks and unattended garbage, so a little management and routine will help set her up for success.Because Yuki can be vocal and reactive at times, especially around fences or busy environments, she would do best in a detached home rather than an apartment or high-traffic setting.
