Viewable in Shelter: Yes, in dog kennels. *** Meet Groot! Groot is a happy, excitable young boxer who has been affectionately dubbed our little Velcro dog. He LOVES his people and is slowly learning that he doesn’t need to show his love by jumping up and being on top of everyone at all times. Groot keeps shelter staff laughing with his playful personality and has been a joy to take out for walks. Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
