Meet Zeus Animal ID: 2000411700 Zeus is a 10 years old male Maremma Sheepdog/Mix who weighs 92 pounds. Zeus is a gentle senior soul looking for a peaceful place to call home. This handsome boy enjoys the simple things: slow, sniffy walks, long brushing sessions, and the softest blanket he can find for a cozy nap. He's low energy and happiest when life moves at his pace. Zeus is affiliative in his own quiet way, often greeting you with a curious sniff before settling in nearby. He adores bum scratches and brushing sessions (which he needs lots of with his gorgeous, fluffy coat!). Whenever the brush comes out, Zeus does, too! Zeus does have a history of resource guarding food and is uncomfortable with nail trims or paw handling, so he'll need an experienced, patient home without young children that can read and respect his body language. He would also prefer to be the only large canine in your home! In the right environment, Zeus will be the perfect calm, cuddly companion. Can you be his retirement home?
