Meet Brute! Brute is a 9-year-old Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This happy-go-lucky guy loves people and is always excited to make new friends. He’s easy to handle, enjoys attention, and is happiest when he’s by your side soaking up all the love he can get. Brute appears to be comfortable in a crate and settles in well, making him a great companion for a home looking for a laid-back but social dog. Despite his age, he still has a playful spirit and enjoys getting out for walks and spending quality time with his humans. One thing to note about Brute is that he can be quite vocal-he loves to bark and isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts! Because of this, he may do best in a home that’s understanding of his chatty nature and can help guide him with positive reinforcement training to manage his barking. Brute is a sweet, affectionate dog who’s ready to spend his golden years with a family that will love him for exactly who he is-voice and all! Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me.
