About Mavis

Mavis is a sweet girl who loves people. She is gentle, intelligent and loving. Mavis rarely barks, unless she’s protecting the house, or telling you she needs to use the washroom. Mavis rarely uses the washroom on walks, preferring her little corner of the backyard. Mavis will let you know when she urgently needs to go outside, and does not like making a mess. She will hold it for a long time to avoid doing so. This is her first time being in a home and she is still very young, so some concepts are new to her. She’s very comfortable in a crate, but is still learning how to be alone in a house. She loves chewing, and is currently learning what she can and can’t chew on. She is unsure of walks, as she seems to get overstimulated by all the sights and sounds. She is currently learning that walks are safe and fun! She pulls on the leash, but not overly hard, and is slowly understanding how to properly walk with people She is unsure of new people and other dogs, but once she is introduced t
