About Kenai

TEMPERAMENT: Known as part of the Brother Bear Litter, Kenai is a gentle and curious boy, while still being energetic and confident exploring his surroundings. He is the bravest of the bunch, standing side-by-side with his foster serious to bark at birds and squirrels. PERSONALITY: Kenai is very chill and assesses new people before coming to meet them. Once comfortable, he looks forward to ear scratches and belly rubs. With his one crooked ear, and beautiful soft fur, this handsome boy is a total charmer. Similar to the rest of the litter, Kenai is very intelligent, sitting for treats and is very food motivated. SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: He is great with his 5 siblings and loves our medium and large breed dogs. Untested with cats. Great meeting new people and kids. HISTORY: Born homeless under dilapidated abandoned house in cold, hungry, starving. Rescued when 2.5 weeks old and now in wonderful foster home being hand raised near Revelstoke. FAVORITE THINGS: Kenai loves kong chew toys, chasing after chuck it soccer balls in the back yard and wrestling with his sister and brothers. PLEASE NOTE: Being fostered near Revelstoke and an adoption event scheduled on Dec. 8 at Animal House Pet Store. PETS NEEDS/BEHAVIOURAL INFO: Kenai is very food motivated which will help with more recall training. Continued work on redirecting the puppy biting with teething toys has been successful. Kenai is getting great at letting us know he needs to go out to the bathroom and rarely has an accident in the house. BEST MATCH: Kenai would do well in a home with or without another dog, fine with kids and both men and women.
