About Floyd
Male DOB: Nov 22/24 Domestic Short Hair Neutered Cats: Yes Dogs: Yes (if they don't chase) Kids: Yes Adoption Fee: $375 This extremely handsome fellow is Floyd! He is the sweetest boy who found himself living outside and alone with no one caring for him. He showed up at a very kind lady's house and tried to join a small feral colony of cats she was feeding. Unfortunately some of those cats did not appreciate Floyd's unneutered male presence and they would pick on him. Floyd showed us very quickly he was a happy friendly boy and he's now been fixed, microchipped and vaccinated and is ready for adoption. Floyd loves attention, he is a very affectionate cat that loves ear/head/butt scratches, belly rubs and he will give you very sweet little kisses when he wants your attention. If Floyd doesn't feel he's done with you petting him he will grab your hand to bring you back for more but he never uses his claws. Floyd is beginning to love all types of toys, he loves catnip pillows, springs, ping pong balls, furry toy mice and is great at using any and all scratchers. He is great at eating his kibble and really enjoys his wet food every evening. He loves treats but his favorites are Friskies, any flavor. He has great litter tray habits and is a very clean boy. One very unique thing about this beautiful cat is he has an extra toe on each of his front paws. Floyd is a polydactyl which can make trimming his nails a little more challenging but he is very good when getting them trimmed. Floyd has been great around all the other cats in the foster home but we do know he won't defend himself if picked on by dominant cats. He would love another cat as a buddy in his new home but could be an only cat if you are willing to spend a lot of time with him and give him lots of attention and love as that's really what he wants. Floyd has been around a dog in the foster home and is okay as long as the dog keeps his distance and isn't in his face. He would not do well with a dog that wants to chase or play with him. Though Floyd has only been around an older teen in the foster home, we feel he would be okay with younger children as long as they are respectful of the boundaries he may set. He is a very gentle boy who just seems to want love and to give love in return. Are you the family that is willing to give him that love? #block-be86e2d09c65ad3154d5 { } #block-be86e2d09c65ad3154d5 .sqs-html-content { } #block-be86e2d09c65ad3154d5 { mix-blend-mode: var(--tweak-text-block-blend ); border-radius: var(--tweak-text-block-radius); } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { #block-be86e2d09c65ad3154d5 { } } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { #block-be86e2d09c65ad3154d5 .sqs-html-content { } } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { }
