Are you looking for an active little sidekick to join you on your every excursion?! Look no further, Lupin may be the companion you’ve been searching for. Lupin and his friend Oliver came into our care when their previous guardians could no longer care for them. In an ideal world, they would find a furever home together, however, we have made the difficult decision to unbond them if it means they can each find their happily ever after. Lupin is an energetic and active 8-year-old Wheaten Terrier mix. Don’t let his age deter you- He is full of life and has a big personality to match. He LOVES a good adventure, exploring new places and sights. Lupin can be vocal when left alone and struggles with some anxiety, so he would do best with a consistent routine and an adopter committed to helping him build confidence. He will thrive in a home that can provide structure, reassurance, and understanding. His ideal home would be with folks who work remotely or part-time from home, who can commit to slow departure exercises while helping him build his confidence. Lupin also had urinary crystals when he arrived in our care and will need to be on a special diet to ensure they do not recur. Lupin is currently enjoying his time in a foster home while he awaits his perfect match.
