About Gizmo

Male DOB: February 22, 2026 Neuter - TO BE DONE Husky Mix Cats: Untested Dogs: Yes Kids: Untested Adoption Fee: $850 These baby-blue eyes will melt your heart. Gizmo is a pint-sized powerhouse—a Husky cross from Rankin Inlet, Nunavut—with a personality far bigger than his small frame. He’s incredibly confident and completely unfazed by larger dogs—even ones five times his size. Since finishing his quarantine period, he’s met other dogs with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. He loves to play, especially roughhousing with bigger companions, and he hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like (cats are still an unknown). Gizmo is already learning some of his manners. He can sit, wait patiently for his food, take treats gently (with a reminder or two), and knows how to shake a paw. He’s also been working on ringing a bell hung on the doorknob to signal when he needs to go outside—and he’s starting to make the connection, however, like most puppies, he still has the occasional accident, usually because he’s so caught up in play that he forgets he needs a pee break. This little guys is currently teething, so we provide frozen washcloths and silicone toys to help ease and soothe his gums. During play, he can sometimes get a bit mouthy in his excitement, but he’s learning to be gentle and has been improving steadily with guidance. With his Husky energy, Gizmo thrives on activity. Long outdoor walks—up to two hours— we have found helps him burn off energy and settle into a calmer state. He listens well, knows his name and is trying to be a good boy. He has a soft, plush coat and gorgeous markings that really make him stand out. On walks, he draws attention everywhere he goes—his striking looks and captivating eyes literally stop people in their tracks. Crate training is still a work in progress. Like many Huskies, he’s vocal and prefers roaming and being close to his people, but a white noise machine has helped him stay settled for longer periods. Gizmo truly is incredibly smart and picks things up quickly. He already shows a love for water—he happily splashes around in a small kiddie pool and gets especially excited when the hose creates bubbles and movement. All in all, Gizmo is a very special pup who will thrive in an active home. He’s affectionate, sweet, and full of life. While he can get a little wild during his zoomies, it passes quickly—and he’s right back to being a loving, adorable companion. #block-2267a32b7268c89eebba { } #block-2267a32b7268c89eebba .sqs-html-content { } #block-2267a32b7268c89eebba { mix-blend-mode: var(--tweak-text-block-blend ); border-radius: var(--tweak-text-block-radius); } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { #block-2267a32b7268c89eebba { } } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { #block-2267a32b7268c89eebba .sqs-html-content { } } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { }
