Meet Nagini 🐾 Nagini is a beautiful 9-year-old, 55lb retired sled dog who’s ready to trade in the fast-paced trail life for a cozy, loving home. After years of hard work, she’s embracing a slower pace—though don’t be fooled, she can still light up when it’s time for an adventure! Whether it’s a peaceful morning in the garden, a leisurely walk, or a scenic hike, Nagini is happiest by your side. Nagini has been working on her leash skills and is gaining confidence with car rides, so she’ll do best with a patient adopter who can continue to support her. She is a quick learner, eager to please and very treat motivated making her quite a pleasure to work with! She can tolerate cats indoors but finds them a bit intimidating, so a calm dog savvy feline or cat-free home would suit her best. She also has a charmingly expressive side and isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts, from gentle grumbles and soft whines to the occasional husky-style howl. Nagini would thrive in a quieter household with a yard where she can relax and explore at her own pace. Because she prefers predictability and calm, she may find younger energetic children overwhelming but would appreciate the extra cuddles from older quieter kids! If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who enjoys both relaxation and adventure—and will happily “chat” with you along the way—Nagini could be the perfect addition to your home 💛
