About Mika

Mika was surrendered to us when her previous family thought she was pregnant. Mika was severely underweight and had a huge abdomen. On exam, we knew right away something wasn't right. She was taken to the vet for x-rays and it turned out she had a tumor the size of a basketball. She required surgery right away and recovered amazingly. Most recently, another tumor started to grow, and after further testing it ended up being Soft Tissue Sarcoma.
