Based on Owner Rehoming's listing, and in some cases inferred from Bear's description. Always confirm with them before deciding.
He is a big, loving and affectionate dog who has been an important part of our family. He has many wonderful qualities and is happiest when he is with his people. Like many Great Pyrenees, he is loyal, protective and has a strong personality. Unfortunately, we have reached the difficult decision that he may be better suited to a home without young children. He has occasionally been a little nippy with older kids, although he has never broken the skin or caused an injury. We take this seriously and want to be responsible by finding him an environment where he can be comfortable and set up for success. We believe he would do best with someone who understands the Great Pyrenees breed and is comfortable with a large, independent, protective dog. We want to make sure he goes to the right home rather than simply placing him anywhere. He is approximately 130 lbs, and we are located in Ottawa. I’m happy to provide photos, veterinary records and any additional information about his personality, history and behaviour.
Loves to go for walks and long car rides. Enjoys spending time at kennels and playing with other dogs. Very good with our 4 year old as you can see from the picture. Good dog is very responsive to positive reinforcement training.
