Based on Owner Rehoming's listing, and in some cases inferred from Moose's description. Always confirm with them before deciding.
We have a 22month old boy at home and another one coming. We’re not getting rid of Moose because of him, but because of our kids. When our first child was young, he pushed moose to his limits and moose gave him the smallest nip. Since then, moose handles him way better and just steer clears and doesn’t react. That being said, our kid refuses to stop pulling his ears, poking his eyes, grabbing at him etc and we’re just to afraid for a potentially bad situation. With another kid on the way, the year of tormenting is no where close to being gone. Also, with our schedule, come the winter time my wife is alone with the kid and moose suffers on walking. For how moose lived his first 5 years, we feel he just needs a family who will treat him how he deserves.
Say Hi to Moose. Moose is the sweetest dog but he does have his issues as well. The best way to explain moose is, he’s a Covid Dog. For starters, he grew up spending most his time on off leash walks (recall isn’t great when in prey mode) cottage living, large fenced in yard. He is a big cuddler. He loves spending as much time with you as possible. Loves going on walks, bike rides, hiking, anything outside. He’s loyal to a fault. That being said, being a Covid dog, he isn’t use to certain things.. large crowds, lots of kids running etc is a lot for him and he gets anxious. He isn’t great with…
