About Pepsi
Hi! My name is Pepsi, and before you ask, yes... I am as bubbly as my name suggests. I'm approximately 2 years old, likely a Pitbull/Shepherd mix, although I'm a little shorter than most people expect. Think "fun-sized" rather than "travel-sized." Before I landed in rescue, I was living on the streets while pregnant with 13 puppies. THIRTEEN. If you're doing the math, that's basically an entire classroom of children. Raising 13 babies as a single mom was exhausting work, but thankfully I had an amazing foster family and lots of aunties who helped me get those little freeloaders raised…
What's really in Pepsi's mix?
Shelter breed labels are an educated guess from a dog's looks, and they are often wrong. If you adopt Pepsi, a DNA test can show the actual breed mix, which helps you plan training, exercise and health checks. See how the two main tests sold in Canada compare.
