Ginny came into New Hope Dog Rescue with a severe, fully encircling neck wound caused by an embedded chain, which was infected and matted with feces, leaving her in pain and extremely malnourished when she arrived in foster care. She received daily wound management, including laser therapy and hydrotherapy, and eventually had the wound surgically closed at Orchard Veterinary Care, followed by removal of stitches, spaying, vaccinations, and microchipping. Despite all the trauma, Ginny remained a sweet, trusting soul, learning that people could care for and protect her. Her story ended happily…
