About Talya
Talya doesn’t have much history, unfortunately: she had been abandoned. She was isolated from other cats for a couple of weeks until she was health-checked, snap tested (all negative) and vaccinated.During that time she was treated for an eye infection which she had upon intake. It likely started as something viral. After two rounds of antibiotics with not much improvement, our veterinarian switched the drops to a newer treatment called Cidofovir Ophthalmic which “is a topical antiviral medication used to treat viral infections of the eye”.
