He is very smart and knows exactly when he gets fed twice a day. He is ok with gentle belly rubs, but is not a cat that loves to be picked up for any length of time, but being held in a cuddle is A-OK.Popcorn has also been diagnosed with Feline Leukemia which means he must be adopted as a single cat or as a companion to another Feline Leukemia positive cat. Feline Leukemia cats appear and act as healthy as other cats, but they do have an increased risk of getting sick due to a weakened immune system. They should be protected from stress and fed a high quality diet. Their life span is often shorter, but it is not possible to predict. Every cat is unique. Popcorn also has had to have all his teeth removed and is on a daily medication, but it does not affect his quality of life or appetite.The most important thing to know is that Popcorn has a beautiful, engaging and happy personality. He adores people and has so much love to give. Just like any other cat, what Popcorn needs and deserves is a forever home.
