Heya, friends! I’m Mackerel, yes, just like the fish! Isn’t that a fun name? I was brought in as a stray, and even though my amazing shelter family tried really hard to find my humans, no luck, they think I’m destined to meet my perfect forever person right here! I’m a pretty chill and easy going lady, the kind of cat who enjoys a cozy corner, a warm lap, and gentle pets. I love a calm, peaceful environment where I can just hang out and soak up affection without feeling overwhelmed. Speaking of which…I do need a home without other animals. As much as I like making new friends, other pets tend to be a little too much for me, and I do best when I’m the center of attention. I may not be the loudest or the most playful cat in the world, but what I lack in high energy antics, I make up for in heart, loyalty, and charm. I’m the perfect companion for someone who wants a mellow, loving buddy to hang out with, nap with, and share quiet moments.
