Bouquet

• I am in a foster homeWhat a pleasure to meet you - my name is Bouquet. I am a lady of middle years and I lost my home through no fault of my own. I am the type of feline that does not love change - and it has taken a few weeks for my nerves to calm and settle into my foster home. At first my safe place was on top of some cupboards, but nowadays I am out and about and enjoying my foster home. My foster parent gives me the space I need, and I let her know when want some pets, lap time or to sleep on her bed. Brushing is ok, in small doses, and believe it or not, I have a couple of favourite toys that allow my inner playfulness to emerge.My foster mom even lets me eat on the countertop as that is my preferred place to eat my favourite food - grilled stew and then I have my dry food to snack on. I am comfortable with visitors, but no petting please from strangers. Not yet anyway.I think I will live my best life in an adult home that has some experience with cats like me, where I will shine brightly once again and become the affectionate, beautiful and loving tortie I was always destined to be. All I need is a chance.
