About Katia
Katia, her brother, Mordecai, and their mom, Cassie, were living rough in a hamlet in southern Alberta. They were brought to our attention in mid December, 2024, when the kittens were five months old. The person who was providing food and shelter was eventually able to capture them all, several days apart. The kittens were shy and had never been handled; however, mom, Cassie, has tamed up too quickly to have not had a previous home. Katia is still a bit of a ‘hold out’ in her family, not caring for now to be petted or held. Her capture was a bit more traumatic than her brother and mom, and…
