Despite his working-dog energy, Bones has a softer side reserved for his people. He enjoys a good cuddle, appreciates quiet downtime, and forms deep, meaningful bonds with those who earn his trust. Bones is looking for a home that understands and respects his needs. He would do best in a detached home with a secure yard, as apartment or condo living would not be suitable for him. Due to his prey drive and instincts, Bones cannot be placed in a home with small animals and is not a candidate for off-leash environments such as dog parks. He would also do best as the only male dog in the home. Bones is an ideal match for an experienced owner who is confident handling intelligent, high-drive dogs and is committed to providing ongoing structure, enrichment, and guidance.
