Nellie is a playful, affectionate puppy whose personality shines more and more every day. She's an active, goofy pup who loves long walks, learning new things, and relaxing nearby while the household goes about their day. While Nellie may take a moment to warm up when new people approach her, but she is very curious and quickly learning that new people can be friends. With every new friend Nellie makes, she is becoming more and more confident! Once she feels comfortable, her silly and loving side comes out! Nellie loves curling up on the couch, getting belly rubs, and settling in for cuddles after a busy day. Nellie has lots of playful energy and is even learning how to play fetch! In the house, she's great at entertaining herself by chewing on her toys. She also does well in her crate while her foster is at work -especially if she has a chew toy or a Kong nearby to relax with. Nellie gets along well with her large-breed foster dog sibling and may enjoy having a confident canine companion to play with and learn from. Overall, Nellie is a fun, loving puppy who is looking for a patient and active home that will continue helping her grow in confidence while enjoying all the goofy, cuddly moments she brings.
