Hey everyone! My name is Derk. At least I think it is, the ladies that take care of me have all sorts of nicknames for me, it's hard to keep track. Anyways, I am a very sweet boy who is extremely food motivated. If you give me treats, you will become my new best friend. I am pretty hyperactive and definitely need to go for at least one decent walk a day or I get a little stir crazy. Back in my younger days I never stopped moving, but now that I'm a mature man I like to take afternoon naps on occasion. I am best suited to live with an active family where I would be the only furry member. But thats okay, I have a lot of love to give to the humans around me. I've been in SCARS' care for a few years now and am really hoping I will find my forever home any day now.
