About Vitamix “Nova” Appliance

Adopt a Dog or Cat in Edmonton, Alberta More photos of me can be found here. Vitamix “Nova” Appliance   |   Female   |   Mixed Breed   | I was originally rescued as a very young puppy with my mama and siblings. I was adopted out but sadly my adopters were facing some unexpected health challenges and made the hard decision to return me to Zoe's to find a new home. Hi, I’m Nova, an older puppy with a big heart and so much love to give. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people or facing new situations, but with a bit of time and patience, I start to feel safe and let my true self shine. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly affectionate and love nothing more than cuddling up close with my people. I’m eager to please and always trying my best to do the right thing, which makes me a wonderful companion to grow with. I’m a good girl in the house and don’t get into things I shouldn’t. While I enjoy my quiet cuddle time, I’ve got a smart and athletic side too, and I think I’d really thrive in something fun like agility. I’m a sweet, sensitive girl who just needs a gentle, understanding home to help me blossom into my best self. I am crate trained and doing well with house training but sometimes nervous pee when meeting new people. I do have some anxiety and can get quite vocal when meeting new people and when out on walks so I will need patient adopters willing to continue working on building my confidence. I am currently fostered with another dog but will sometimes play too rough when I get excited. I'm a high energy and bouncy pup who will need an active home that will keep working on my basic training and manners. To ensure we get off on the right paw, my adopters will be required to sign up for force-free training. You can find a list of great trainers at www.albertaforcefreealliance.com. I am spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Zoe's cannot guarantee what breeds are in me or my size as an adult. By: Parker Pothier One reason many families are hesitant to try fostering is because they are worried about or afraid of the process of saying goodbye. Specifically, families often worry about how … [Read More...]
