About Capaldi

Sigh, I am still here. Not that foster care is a bad thing. It is just that I would like a forever place. I am getting to be an older guy now and I would like to set down some roots. Why am I still here, you ask? Well I need a kind of special home. I am an outdoorsy guy, I like room to roam and a fence to keep me safe. I like a warm spot I can get into in during cold weather, but I do like to be outside exploring. So think acreage with a heated building I could get in and out of. I would be good with other dogs or on my own. I do walk on leash, but I warn you I pull very hard. I need a particular food - luckily it is not expensive or hard to get. Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and skin suits me just fine. That and Kirkland biscuits are my go to's. I am not good with cats and can not share a space with them. I obviously wasn't socialized with people prior to coming to SCARS. I am not at all mean, I am cautious and shy. I like my foster family, and their patience has taught me it is okay to go on leash and ride in vehicles, but I will always be a bit of a loner. I am definitely not an attention hog. I do like a routine and watching for birds, rabbits, and squirrels, as well as running around. Please consider me to join your family.
