Why Navy Needs a New Home

She has never been the easy, social family dog we hoped she would be, despite the training and work we have put into her. With a young child in our home and another baby on the way, we have had to be completely honest with ourselves about what is safest and fairest for everyone — including Navy. Keeping her separated, leashed or confined so that we can manage her safely is not the life we want for her. We are looking for someone who truly understands strong, protective breeds and reactive/aggressive dogs and who has the experience, space and lifestyle to give Navy what she needs. She would need to be the right fit rather than simply going to the first person interested. Ideally, a home without young children and with someone who is comfortable managing a dog with strong guarding instincts. This is not a decision we are making because we don’t love her. It’s because we love her enough to recognize that the life we can give her right now may not be the life she deserves. 🥺 Please do not message if you are simply looking for a family pet or if you don’t have experience with dogs like Navy.
