Why Sawyer Needs a New Home
This is a very difficult decision. We,ve raised him since he was a puppy, and he’s been a huge part of our life. But after starting our family and moving into a townhouse, we’ve realized we can’t give him the time, space, and engagement he truly deserves. With a young child and work responsibilities, we’re not able to meet the needs of a high‑energy herding breed the way we used to. He would thrive in a home with more space, a fenced yard, and someone active and experienced with this type of dog. He needs a cat‑free home, plenty of exercise, and someone who can give him the attention and love he’s used to. We want to make sure he ends up with the right person who can give him the life he deserves.
About Sawyer
Sawyer is a wonderful blue heeler with a big heart and a classic working‑breed spirit. He’s independent, energetic, and happiest when he has someone to engage with. At home he’s relaxed and easy to live with, but he’ll happily ask for attention when he wants it. He’s great with kids and generally good with other dogs. He’s not suited for a home with cats and has a very strong prey drive, especially around wildlife.
