Why Isla Needs a New Home

She was left behind by the owner during the wildfires in our area, but a decent person grabbed her as they were evacuating. That person came to stay with me while evacuated, and Isla has been here ever since....that was 2.5 months ago. I am in my mid-fifties and am really struggling to give her the life she needs and deserves. I walk her 3 times a day, but my health was already strained, and this is a real struggle for me. Probably the most stressful is we have 2 vicious, "professionally" trained attack dogs next door that she has tried to go visit several times now. One of these dogs came in our yard and attacked our senior dog, Hannah, about a month before Isla came to live here. My nerves are shot and my heart is racing all the time at the thought of this sweet dog being harmed by these german shepherds. I put "professionally" in brackets because they will attack anything, but won't stop when commanded. Isla has been transferred to my name and is in the B.C Pet Registry. She is incredibly healthy, with good teeth. I need help. I took her to an SPCA yesterday, but couldn't leave her there and ended up having a full, sobbing, mental breakdown in the lobby.
