Why Kiju Needs a New Home

It breaks my heart to be rehoming her, but I'm 70 years old and was recently diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. There are 3 coyotes in my neighbourhood. Kiju is leash-trained, and I mostly take her to off-leash dog parks (twice a day), but when I walk her around the block, she goes crazy when she sees a coyote. With my bad back, I'm having more and more trouble restraining her and am afraid she's going to end up in a fight with a coyote.

About Kiju

Kiju is a husky-shepherd-lab mix. She is a really sweet dog, well behaved, and almost never barks. She is very athletic - loves to fetch a ball or a frisbee, go for hikes (off leash at Bronte Provincial Park off-leash zone) and then naps most of the time she's home. She is indifferent toward most dogs or cats (love people).
