Meet Porto: Porto is a 5-year-old Miniature Schnauzer with the gentlest heart and the sweetest little soul. While much of his early life remains a mystery, we do know he came from a breeding situation where he experienced far more than any dog ever should. Prior to coming into rescue, Porto was devocalized—an illegal procedure that reduces the volume of a dog's bark by altering their vocal cords.
