About Gertrude
Gertrude is a beautiful solid black girl who is still trying to figure out exactly what all these people are about. Gertrude came to us as one of 33 cats from a hoarding situation. Like many of the cats from this group, the transition to shelter life has been a big adjustment for her. She is still unsure of people and isn’t quite convinced that she understands what we want from her—or what she should expect from us.
