About Rusty
Meet Rusty — a true survivor with the softest heart and the gentlest soul. Rusty was found living on the streets of a small rural Saskatchewan town, terribly starving, severely malnourished, and dangerously underweight. When he was finally safe and vetted, we learned he had diabetes—very likely brought on by the extreme starvation he endured. Since coming into RCR care, Rusty has blossomed with love, steady meals, and proper medical support. He was started on insulin, and in just a short time, his dosage has already been cut in half.
