Abbey is the definition of a Velcro dog—once she bonds with you, she’ll be your loyal little shadow, following you from room to room like your very own fluffy assistant (don’t worry… she supervises everything very seriously). Whether you’re cooking, cleaning, or just relaxing, Abbey will be right there, gently reminding you that she deserves pets… and maybe a few more pets… okay, definitely more pets. If you stop, expect a soft little whine asking, “excuse me, I wasn’t done yet.” She’s a sensitive soul with a heart of gold. Abbey can be a bit timid at first, but once she settles in, she blossoms into the most loving, affectionate companion you could ever ask for. She learns quickly and thrives with positive reinforcement, picking up routines and patterns like a pro. Abbey loves staying active—whether it’s a game of fetch, a nice walk, or an adventurous hike, she’s always ready to go! She’s still working on her leash manners and can be reactive if another dog rushes her, she’ll need a patient home committed to continuing her training. But don’t worry—she’s incredibly eager to learn and wants nothing more than to make you proud. Abbey would thrive in a calm, understanding home with older, respectful kids who can match her gentle nature. Small animals aren’t her thing, and fast movements can make her nervous, so a slower-paced environment will help her shine brightest.
