Meet Theodore (Theo) 80 lbs | Young | Medium Energy | Certified Love Bug Theo—aka Theo the Big Teddy—is a gentle, affectionate boy with a heart as big as his paws. While his background is a bit of a mystery, what’s crystal clear is that he’s a very good boy who’s thriving in foster care and ready for his forever home. Personality & Home Life Theo is a classic Velcro dog. If he’s awake, he’s nearby—content just being close to his person. He can be a little insecure at first, but that shows up as sweetness, not mischief. He understands boundaries well (like staying out of the kitchen while cooking and “invite-only” couch access), though when he is invited, cuddling and napping are his absolute favorite activities. He’s calm, patient with people, and not pushy for attention—often choosing to quietly sit or lie at your feet and give you “the eyes” instead. Expect gentle head nudges for pets and a whole lot of quiet affection. Training & Manners Fully crate trained (goes in willingly and even naps there by choice) Walks well on leash; no jumping, even when excited Harness-friendly and easy to gear up Medium energy—happy with walks but can handle colder days with less activity Food motivated but not a beggar Uses a slow feeder due to enthusiastic eating (no resource guarding issues) Treats & Care Theo is a bit of a foodie and has refined tastes—his favorite treats are plain dehydrated meats (no chicken due to an allergy). He doesn’t shed much, is low maintenance overall, and recently had a deep grooming (not his favorite, but he survived ). Nail trims are still a work in progress, mostly due to logistics—not behaviour
