About Ike
Ike is a 9 years, 1 month old male Large Mixed Breed who weighs 57 pounds. He is a handsome, gentle fellow who may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for his sweet personality to shine through. Once he feels comfortable, Ike happily leans into pets, offers soft tail wags, and enjoys spending time with his people. Because Ike came with limited history, his future family should be prepared to help him continue building confidence with lots of love, patience and treats. Ike would like to take it slow and have lots of time to warm up to new people and places…
What's really in Ike's mix?
Shelter breed labels are an educated guess from a dog's looks, and they are often wrong. If you adopt Ike, a DNA test can show the actual breed mix, which helps you plan training, exercise and health checks. See how the two main tests sold in Canada compare.
