Why Nakoda Needs a New Home
We are rehoming because despite training, collar or harness types, correction, over the last couple years he has developed aggression sometimes towards other dogs, even if they are far away. It isn't every dog but there are some here and there. Some dogs can be out of control and run at him to bark and want to attack and he does not care at all, and some dogs he will start barking at and act aggresive it does not matter if close or far away. Because of this we eventually quit going to dog parks and the father and mother can only walk him due to their size and being able to keep the leash short and under control until the other dog is gone or we turn to a different direction. He is perfectly fine with other dogs, it seems to just depend. Any place we have turned they have no other option but to put him down but we dont see any reason for that if we could find a nice rural home where he was the only dog. He should not be put down for this reason in our eyes, and we wouldn't want to.
About Nakoda
He is sweet boy with the family, hangs out with the youngest a lot. Likes to sleep at the front or back door, probably because its cool there. Always been loving and friendly to us, he is also house trained well, never in the garbage never makes a mess inside. He only likes little freeze dried liver treats, nothing else he is picky that way. The one weird qwerk he has is he only likes to use the bathroom in the tallest grass possible, it is actually kind of funny, he will find the tallest blades in the area.
