As Duke hasn't done well with our farm free range birds, we've had to keep him contained within a large run in our yard. We don't feel he's been able to live his best life and it makes us sad to see such a sweet dog being 'wasted'. He has a lot to offer and would love a home where he could be with his people.
Duke is a sweetheart and absolutely loves people. He's a very handsome boy. We really want a home for him where he can be with his people as part of the family. He was brought to our little farm as an outside dog, but lies at the door without any accidents. He has always let us know if he needs to be let out. Duke is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. Duke isn't aggressive, but has discovered that our chickens are tasty treats. He will also chase our barn cats if given the opportunity.
