Why Doc Needs a New Home

We adopted him last year under the impression that he was good with kids and dogs. We were also under the impression that our dog would be good with cats. Neither has turned out to be true. We have done our best to carve out his area and safe space with essentially his own suite downstairs that our dog can’t get to. They are like oil and water. Doc is a softy and has no interest standing his ground although he could being the same size as our dog (18lbs)! Doc would like a quiet home with a sunny window and have lots quiet time with their owner. We try our best to give him that but if there is a better situation for him out there, we are interested in exploring it. He’s a really good cat, uses litter, eats well. He’s a really nice boy and deserves an environment he will thrive in!
