About dog adoption in Comox

No rescue currently lists adoptable dogs directly in Comox on LocalPetFinder, so this page does the next best thing: it pulls the live adoptable dogs from the Nanaimo area, roughly 90 km away, into one place for Comox families, alongside any dogs owners list for rehoming in Comox itself. Listings refresh regularly, and every profile links straight to the rescue or owner to apply.

Adopting from a rescue a drive away is normal in British Columbia: most rescues arrange a meet and greet at the shelter or foster home once your application is in, so you typically make the trip once or twice. If nothing here fits today, the alert below tells you the moment a dog is listed in Comox or the Nanaimo area, and if you need to rehome a dog, you can list them free with Comox as the location.
