IN SHELTER – ACCEPTING PRE-APPLICATIONS When Nana came to us, she was in truly heartbreaking condition. She was severely underweight, and the inside of her mouth, gums, and throat were so severely ulcerated and deteriorated that she was struggling just to breathe. She was incredibly uncomfortable and desperately needed help. So we tucked this tiny girl into an incubator, surrounded her with warmth and care, and started the long process of getting her strong enough for surgery.
