About Nyx
Hi, I'm Nyx! I came into rescue shortly after my puppies were brought in. I was so fearful of humans that the kind soul who was looking out for me had to trap me to get me safe and secure. Now here I am at the shelter! I have come such a long way since coming in. For the first couple of months I would not let anyone touch me. I slowly warmed up to the shelter staff and a few select volunteers who spent countless hours earning my trust by sitting with me, tossing treats my way, and eventually giving me light pats.
