About Makwa
Meet Makwa, one of the sweetest dogs to come through our doors. He's sleek and wiggly and ready to make friends, be they human or other dogs. He's had plenty of playdates and adventures and can be quite sophisticated in his manners. Makwa is gentle and easy going but always down for a little adventure. Makwa is looking for a home that will love him and support his health routine so that he can always be his best self living the good life.
What's really in Makwa's mix?
Shelter breed labels are an educated guess from a dog's looks, and they are often wrong. If you adopt Makwa, a DNA test can show the actual breed mix, which helps you plan training, exercise and health checks. See how the two main tests sold in Canada compare.
