- Sugar & Spice must be adopted together as a bonded pair - A home with no other pets - A home with general dog experience as well as behaviour-specific experience with fear-based reactivity and vocal dogs - Children should be 14+ - A home without shared walls is recommended, as both girls can be quite vocal - Their family should be comfortable giving them space from triggers and proactively helping them avoid becoming overwhelmed - A calm, patient home where they can decompress and build a relationship with their new people at their own pace - Adopters who understand the management involved in having two somewhat vocal and easily triggered dogs in the home Spice is currently taking a medication called gabapentin to help with shelter stress and though she may not need this medication long term once settled into a home, a starter supply will be sold to her adopter to help support her transition into her forever home.
