Meet Trooper π₯°π Trooper came to us from up North about 3 months ago. He came in a with a broken leg and awaited surgery by our extraordinary vet team π₯Ί He is now recovered from his surgery and is slowing coming out of his shell. He is very calm and timid as he hasn't had a lot of human introductions or dog interactions since he has been recovering β€οΈβπ©Ή He is about 1 year old, 44lbs and is good with all humans. He is timid with other dogs and would need slow introductions. He has not been tested with cats just yet. He's an amazing little dog who has really lived up to his nameβ¦
Shelter breed labels are an educated guess from a dog's looks, and they are often wrong. If you adopt Trooper, a DNA test can show the actual breed mix, which helps you plan training, exercise and health checks. See how the two main tests sold in Canada compare.
If Trooper isn't quite the right fit, these dogs are close matches.
